About the Venue

Located near Sunderland's striking Penshaw Monument, this beautiful country park is home to over 100 species of birds, and has hosted numerous events in the past, from Radio One's Big Weekend to the Olympic Torch Relay. Now Adventure Cinema will be setting up in this scenic space, and we can't wait!

Screenings are held on the event field behind the 'Love Lily Herrington Park' cafe. 

Vehicles arrive via the roundabout on the A183/Chester Road. Free on-site parking available - See the car park location on Google Maps here.

Public transport: The closest bus stop is Penshaw, serviced by routes 2, 2A, 78, 78A, 451, 452

Accessibility: The event is held on flat ground with short grass and is approx. 100m from the car park across a flat field. There will be accessible toilet facilities on-site. Please speak to our friendly stewards if you require any assistance.
